Refund eligibility depends on the cancellation timing.
2. Refund Eligibility
- More than 72 hours before departure: Eligible for a refund after applicable cancellation charges.
- 24–72 hours before departure: Partial refund may be applicable.
- Less than 24 hours before departure: No refund will be provided.
- No-show: No refund will be issued if the customer fails to arrive without prior notice.
3. Tour Package Refunds
- Hotel, transport, permits, and other third-party bookings may have separate cancellation policies.
- Any non-refundable charges imposed by hotels, government authorities, or service providers will be deducted from the refund amount.
4. Cancellation by Shakumbhari Tour & Travels
If we cancel your booking due to unavoidable circumstances, you may choose either:
- A full refund of the amount paid, or
- Rescheduling your booking to another available date.
5. Non-Refundable Charges
The following charges are generally non-refundable:
- Government permits
- Entry tickets
- Hotel cancellation charges
- Toll taxes
- Parking fees
- Any third-party booking fees
- Convenience or transaction charges (if applicable)
6. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.
- Refunds will be made through the original payment method whenever possible.
7. Changes to Bookings
If you wish to change your travel date or itinerary, we will try our best to accommodate your request based on availability. Additional charges may apply.
8. Force Majeure
No refunds will be provided for cancellations or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Landslides
- Floods
- Heavy snowfall
- Road closures
- Government restrictions
- Pandemics
- Civil unrest
- Extreme weather conditions
